June 2007: The German newspaper Handelsblatt is organizing a conference on "Security Policy and the Defence Industry" in Berlin on 3./4. July 2007. The North of Ireland is one of the topics. Our comment on a conference who chooses to invite a speaker, who is an apologist for murder and doesn't respect UN embargos (German language only):

13. Juni 2003: The Court of Appeal in Belfast today ruled in favour of Jean McBride.
At Belfast High Court this morning Justice Brian Kerr ruled that the decision to retain in the British Army two men convicted of the murder of Belfast teenager Peter Mc Bride was not ‘unreasonable.’ =>

August, 12th 2002: we visited the small Irish community Short Strand in East Belfast, which is under attack by pro british, loyalist terror gangs for months - the police does nothing to stop these attacks - the residents plead for international help!

beneath the many events of the festival we met activists to discuss various issues, e.g. status of the peace process, situation in Ardoyne after being terrorized by loyalists for weeks.

against the stationing of the two murderers of Belfast teenager Peter McBride with the British Rhine Army in Germany

delegation visits  the North of Irland during September 2000

The visit was organized in cooperation with the Pat Finucane Centre in Derry. The purpose was to meet organizations which are struggling for decades for democracy, equality, justice and human rights, against state terror and human rights violations.

Demand from the British Government to implement the outstanding aspects of the Good Friday Agreement without further delay. Conflict resolution in the North of Ireland requires democracy, equality and justice for all people.
